The second of my Scabiosa petal explorations, this time in a crisp abaca with just a hint of kozo. I am blown away by the delightful surprise of colors bleeding into the fibers. From deep purples and blues, shifting to bluegreens, and olive, with the occasional touch of yellow. Each sheet is totally unique, like a mini abstract watercolor. I’m obsessed, and absolutely can’t wait to make more, crossing my fingers that it turns out this good next time!
